Mary Ann Wall, age 76 of Gatesville, passed away Saturday, May 15, 2021 at Providence Hospital in Waco. Funeral services will be held at 11 am Friday, May 21, 2021 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Temple, 3909 Ermine Trail, Temple, TX 76504.
Mary Ann was born on August 2, 1944 to Finis E. Wills and Jean E. Davis in Temple, Texas. She married Kermit Wall on October 21, 1961 and they would have been married 60 years this October. Mary Ann was an LVN and worked for the Scott & White Clinic in Gatesville. She raised 5 children, before starting her nursing career in 1982. She enjoyed her nursing career from 1982 to 2007. She was a proud member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Temple, and was the secretary of the Texas League of Vocational Nurses. Mary Ann loved being a wife, mama and grandma. She was a very soft spoken lady with a lot of patience. Her favorite color was blue and she loved the mountains. She loved doing genealogy research. Her greatest love was for her Savior, Jesus Christ; and her family.
Mary Ann is preceded in death by her parents, Finis and Jean Wills; daughter, Traci Wall; son, Joshua Wall; and infant great-grandchildren, Luke and Aaron Meihls.
She is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, Kermit Wall; children, Kim McDaris and spouse, Bob; Kish Derrick and spouse, John Alan; Travis Wall, and Justin Wall; sisters, Susan Lockhart and spouse, Ward, Penny Wills Baker, Jill Pickett and spouse, Robin; brothers, Robert Wills and Phil Wills; grandchildren, Tiffany Derrick and spouse, Kevin Meihls, Kenny Chugg and spouse, Brittney, Kayleen Ehrenborg, Hunter Derrick and spouse, Sheyla, Kellie Cazier and spouse, Austin, Isaac Wall, Baylea Wall, Elyjah Wall, Breezy Wall; great grandchildren, Ava Mueller, August Meihls, Colby Derrick, Kannon Derrick, Logan Cazier, Layla Cazier, Liam Chugg, Maximus Chugg, Owenn Chugg, Ezekiel Chugg, Eulalia Chugg, and Solomon Chugg.
A time of visitation will be held from 10 am to 11 am Friday, at the church, prior to the service.
