June Burton

June Wilma Burton, 103, of Temple, Texas passed away September, 11, 2019 in Temple.  She was born June 1, 1916 in Roby, Texas to John and Leticia (Bates) Hickerson.

She is survived by her daughters, Mary Robinson (Jimmy) and Sharon Neal; grandchildren, Keryl Green, Kyle Neal, Kayce Neal, Kim Layne and Brian Robinson; 17 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.  She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband Joseph R. Burton; brothers, Robert L. Hickerson and John T. Hickerson; sisters, Mary F. Moore and Betty J. Boyd.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, September 15, 2019 from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Temple.  A graveside service will be held on Monday, September 16 at 10:00 a.m. at Hillcrest Cemetery in Temple.
