Frances Brewer

Frances J. Brewer, age 79 of Temple, passed from this life Thursday, February 23, 2023, at Baylor Scott & White Hospital. Services will be held Tuesday, February 28, 2023, at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Temple with a visitation starting at 10 am and funeral service to follow at 11 am. Burial will be in North Belton Cemetery.

Frances was born on June 17, 1943, to Othur “Otis” and Lois (Tucker) Williams in Andice, Texas. She was the baby sister and was deeply loved and cared for by her sisters and brothers. Frances enjoyed playing dominoes, and frequently won prizes that she would then give to her sisters. She loved to travel the Texas Hill Country during the spring and look at all the wildflowers and bluebonnets. Frances and her late husband, Bill, and their son, Mark used to attend the Church of Christ in Temple every Sunday.

Frances is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bill Brewer; and brother, Wilburn Williams.

Survivors include her son, Mark Brewer; and sisters, Mildred Grant, and Dorothy Dunlap.
