She moved to Odessa, Texas in 1981 and then to Fort Worth, Texas in 1998 where she has lived ever since. She was very socially active, volunteering at the benevolence center at her church and organizing and assisting with resident events at her retirement community. Ellie loved spending time with her family and friends and never failed to make the people around her smile. She was an incredible woman, and she will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved her.
