Betty Bartek, age 72 of Hewitt, passed from this life Friday, April 1, 2022. Memorial services will be held at 2 pm Tuesday, April 12, 2022, at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Temple.

Betty was born on June 21, 1949, in New Braunfels, Texas. She married Walter Bartek in 1977 and was happily married for 45 years. She loved dogs and enjoyed sewing and watching auto racing.

Betty is preceded in death by her brothers-in-law, Chester, Wilbert, and Gordon Bartek.

She is survived by her husband, Walter; her brothers-in-law, William and Alfred Bartek; a sister-in-law, Vernel Grenwelge; and a niece, Liz.

A time of visitation will be held from 5-7 pm Monday, April 11, 2022, at the funeral home.
