Wilma Harris

Memorial Service for Wilma Harris, 84, of Temple will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, July 1st at Heights Baptist Church with Brother Billy Koinm officiating.

Wilma Lois Harris died on June 9, 2017 at a local care facility.

Wilma Harris was born on January 29, 1933 in Beeville, Texas.

Wilma enjoyed Temple and attended local festivities. She would be seen at the parades, the Temple Wildcats' football games and crafting with knitting and crocheting. She was dedicated to the Lord and her family. She was a member of Heights Baptist Church. She taught her family to believe in the Lord and serve the community. Together the family enjoyed camping, fishing and helping animals.

She is preceded in death by her husband, parents and a son, Wayne Harris.

Survivors include two sons, Lloyd Harris, Larry Harris; two daughters, Tammy Harris and Barbara Lee along with eleven grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Arrangements are in the care of Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Temple.
