William Kennedy, Iii

Private memorial services for William Patrick Kennedy, III, 74, of Troy will be held at a later date.

Mr. Kennedy died on Friday, January 12, at a local hospital.

William Patrick Kennedy, III was born March 26, 1943 to William Patrick Kennedy, II and Eleanor Upchurch Kennedy in Birmingham, Alabama. He graduated from high school
and, in 1965, was drafted in the U.S. Army where he served honorably until his retirement in 1985. He married Marion Ola Madden on October 1, 1966. They started their family
together. Mr. Kennedy was a distinguished Warrant Officer who transitioned as DOD Civilian. He was always involved in electronics and building computers. He spent his time
with his family, dogs, and enjoyed his wife's cooking. He was an Episcopalian by faith.

He is preceded in death by his parents and his son, William Patrick Kennedy, IV.

Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Marion Madden Kennedy; brother, James Matthew Kennedy of Virginia; and a sister, Whiddon Upchurch Stephens of Salem, Oregon.
