William Botts

William Bubba Botts, 55, of Temple, passed away August 8, 2012. A memorial service will be 11 am Saturday, August 11, 2012 at HarperTalasek Funeral Home Temple with Rev. Clint Schofield officiating.
William was born in Miami, Oklahoma on September 25, 1956 to Clayton and Newannah Kennedy Botts. On January 25, 1992 William married the love of his life Carolyn Harrison in Temple at the Scott and White Chapel. William proudly served his country in the US Navy for four years as a Bosuns Mate and received an honorable discharge in 1979. He was a shellback four times over. He worked for the Temple Daily Telegram for over ten years.
William is preceded in death by two brothers Clayton and Tracy Botts and one sister Teresa Botts.
William is survived by his wife Carolyn Botts of Temple, children Jonathan Botts and wife Danielle of Bryan, Tx, and Tony Botts and wife Ashley of Temple, two sisters Lawannah Botts and Sheila Botts and one brother Leroy Botts, two grandchildren Ian Botts and Bobby Atrozskin, and a host of dear friends.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested memorials be made to Temple Animal Services at 620 Mama Dog Circle Temple, Texas 76504. HarperTalasek Funeral Home entrusted with arrangements.
