Wanda Harris

Wanda Estelle Harris, 71 of Temple, passed away May 15, 2009 at a local nursing facility. Memorial service will be 10:00am Wednesday, May 20, 2009 at Harper Talasek Funeral Home in Temple with Rev. Jeff Loudin officiating.

Wanda Harris was born March 2, 1938 to Thomas H. and Lorene Deaver Weathers in Taylor, Texas. On June 2, 1968, she was married to Burrell Harris at Taylors Valley Baptist Church in Temple. Wanda Harris worked as an AVON representative for 28 years. She was a member of Taylors Valley Baptist Church in Temple. BRBRPreceding her in death are her parents, her husband, and brother, Kenneth Weathers. BRBRSurvivors include: sons; Robert Harris and Frank Harris, both of Temple, daughters; Candy Harris of Temple, Loretta Swanzy of Temple, and Stephanie Harris of Washington, sister, Doris Goodnight of Pendelton, and 4 grandchildren.
