W. A. Bill Lindeman, 97, of Temple, died Sunday, February 15, 2009 in a Temple hospital.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Thursday at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Temple with Rev. Wilbern Michalk officiating. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery in Temple.
Mr. Lindeman was born to Wilhelm H. and Lena Mueller Lindeman in Rosebud on December 4, 1911. He had been a resident of Temple since 1937. Prior to his retirement in 1980, he owned and operated service stations in Temple. He was a longtime member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Temple.
Survivors include one son, David Lindeman of Waco; one daughter, Hazel Lindeman of Temple; 4 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and 4 great great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two wives, Lizzie Maye Heller Lindeman and Frances Blankenstein Lindeman; and a son, Douglas Lindeman.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 6-8 P.M. at the funeral home.
