Virginia Benjamin

Virginia Wilson Clendening Benjamin, 90 of Temple died Saturday, May 28, 2011 in Belton.
Graveside services will be 9:00 a.m. Tuesday at Hillcrest Cemetery in Temple with the Chaplain Brent Eaton officiating.
Mrs. Benjamin was born May 31, 1920 to the late R. E. L. and Lucille Clendening in Temple. She married Chesley K. Benjamin July 19, 1946 and he preceded her in death December 28, 2000. She had worked at Camp Hood, Medical Arts Clinic, Texas Bank and Santa Fe Hospital as an administrative assistant.
She was a member of the First Christian Church of Temple and belonged to the Friendship Class and Ruth Circle. She attended the Bruceville Schools and Hieronymus Business College.
Mrs. Benjamin is survived by her three daughters: Jean Johnson of Holland, Diane Gunn of Temple and Kay Sladovnik of Temple, she is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and 6 greatgreat grandchildren.
