Violet Pearl Johnson, 76 of Belton, passed away Sunday May 22, 2011 in Alabama. She was born April 9, 1935 in Batavia, New York.
Funeral Services will be held Tuesday May 31, 2011 10 a.m. at Harper Talasek Funeral Home in Temple. Burial will be at Temple Garden of Memories following the service. The family will receive friends from 68 p.m., Monday at the funeral home.
Violet moved from Radcliff, Kentucky in 1980 and has lived in the Belton area since. She was of the Baptist faith.
Violet is survived by her husband, Ron Strickland her children Bernice E. Cochran and husband Russell, William A. Eddy Billy and wife Michelle, Donna E. Speer and husband, Randy A. Westfall Sr., Teresa Ann Bain, Charles A. Strickland, Vicky Michelle Marcelous, Vicky Ann Johnson, Christopher Wayne Strickland and Crystal Lynn Tabony. grandchildren Rachel Gleason, Roger Gleason, III , Dustin Cochran, Fernando Cortez, Robert M. Speer, Jr., Christopher A . Speer, Michael W. Speer, Randy A Westfall, Jr., William A.Aaron Eddy, Sydney L. Eddy and William R. Eddy and 10 greatgrandchildren.
