December 20, 1924 — April 25, 2012

Vida Marie Mihatsch, 87, of Temple went to be with her lord on April 25, 2012 after passing away at her home. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00am, Monday April 30, 2012 at St. Marys Catholic Church in Temple with Reverend Ranjan Cletus officiating. Harper Talasek Funeral Home Temple is entrusted with the arrangements.
Vida was born on December 20, 1924 to Tanny F. Parsons and Elizabeth Bessie Bourland in Hillsboro, Texas. Vida was the assistant manager and program director for K.Y.L.E. FM radio. Vida later became a teacher and taught at Uncle Bobs Child Care and First Baptist Church Child Care. On June 26, 1969 Vida married Joe A. Mihatsch. In this union there were six children. Vida was a member of St. Marys Catholic Church of Temple. She was the former President of St. Marys Alter Society.
Vida was preceded in death by her husband in 1992, 2 grandchildren and her parents.
Vida is survived by her daughter Jeannine Gibbs and husband Gary of Richardson, Texas stepdaughters: Joann Camp of Temple, Texas and Rose Able and husband Adolph of Temple, Texas stepsons: Joe Mihatsch and wife Linda of La Grange, Texas, Bob Mihastch and Wife Donna Of Kerrville, Texas and Frank Mihastch of Temple, Texas 13 grandchildren 24 great grandchildren and 4 greatgreat grandchildren, and a dear host of friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial may be made to St. Marys Education Department or a charity of your choosing.
