Victor Ybarra

September 2, 1952 — February 18, 2010

Victor Ybarra was born September 2, 1952, to the late Regino and Amalia Ybarra. He attended Temple schools. He married Mary Olga Martinez on April 30, 1976. He had been employed with Texas Hydraulics Inc. for over 20 years. He was a Taso basketball official and treasure of the Temple chapter. He was a devote parishioner of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, and member of The Brothers of Our Lady.

He was preceded in death by his brother Ray Jr, and sister, Dolores Moreno.

He is survived by his wife and children Carlos Ray, Alesia Rai,and Marissa Rae Ybarra. His daughterinlaw Kimberely Ybarra and two grandchildren Jacob Rhay and Peyton Rhey Ybarra. Other survivors include his brothers and sisters, Regina Martinez, Hope Fuentes, Mary Ramos, Rachael Knighton, Rita Ybarra, Anna Ybarra, Jorge Ybarra, Edward Ybarra, Roy, Stevie, and Jamie Ybarra. Services for Victor Ybarra, 57, of Temple, will be held at HarperTalasek Funeral Home including a public visitation from 68 with rosary beginning at 7 p.m. Sunday concluding with memorial service Monday morning at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church.
