Veronica Denise
Sanchez
June 30, 1982 – April 28, 2026
It is with great sorrow that we say goodbye to our dear mother Veronica Sanchez, who passed away on April 28,2026.Veronica Sanchez was born in Odessa, Tx June 30, 1982 to two loving parents. She spent a portion of her youth in Odessa, walking to and from grade school saving coupons for personal pizzas to Pizza hut, and playing in that blazing Texas heat.
She then moved to Temple Texas, attending Belton Highschool; where she played in the marching 100, attended the burning of the B, and took photography classes. Once she graduated from Highschool she began to attend Temple Community College where she was working towards her associates degree. She then went on to remain in the Temple and Belton area where she took on the laborious task of being a Pharmacy-Tech for 20+ years and BSW Insurance call operator for the remainder of her time here on earth.
Veronica was a kind soul, willing to help anyone who was in need anyway she could: even though she was limited in her abilities to help others she did it her way. She built special bonds with her customers who eventually became friends, staying by them until the last refill. She raised two beautiful girls and taught them everything they need to know about being a woman. She was the life of the party, her laughter always filling the air around her, her extravagant makeup with tantalizing colors, her fiery passion engulfing whatever stood in her way. Veronica lived for her family, always a shoulder to cry on, giving life advice, or an ear to listen. She will live on in her family’s memory and be loved always.
She is survived by her loving and devoted husband, John Suniga; Children Jaziel Carlos Suniga, Karlyana Denise Suniga, and Natalia Eneri Suniga; Mother Elsa Birden ; Mother in law Maria Suniga Delgado; Siblings Diana (Spouse Cara), and David Sanchez; Nieces Ashley Sanchez, Lluvia Sanchez, and Kayla Sanchez; Friends Ana, Betsebe, Letty, Sonia, and Maricela. Preceded in death by Faustino Sanchez.
A visitation will be held on May 13 from 6 to 8PM at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Temple. Funeral service will take place the following morning at 10:00AM, also at Harper-Talasek.
