Veronica Navarro

Veronica Esqueda Navarro, born on November 11, 1976, in Chicago, Illinois passed away on Monday, October 21, 2024, at the age of 47. A public viewing will be held from 5-9 pm Saturday, October 26, 2024, at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Temple.

Veronica graduated from Weslaco High School. She was a fearless warrior whose strength and resilience will forever inspire those who knew her. Veronica faced life's everyday challenges with grace and courage, especially when diagnosed with breast cancer and other medical trials, she never wavered in her bravery or her unshakable will to live life to its fullest. Veronica was the heart and soul of her family, the glue that held them together through thick and thin. Her nurturing spirit and love knew no bounds. To her children and grandchildren, she was not only a provider but a confidante, protector, and greatest champion. Veronica's legacy is one of unconditional love, strength, and perseverance. She gave endlessly to those she loved and never hesitated to offer support to anyone in need. Though she is no longer with us, her warm smile, infectious laugh, and her indomitable spirit lives on in the hearts of her family and friends.

She is survived by a loving family, her husband, Jeremy Palacios; children, Ethan Dever, Josefina Dever, Jesse Navarro, and Nicolas Navarro; grandchildren, Enzo Llanas, Ezra Llanas, Eneliyah Navarro, Estrella Dever, and Elijah Navarro; her mother, Josefina Esqueda; father, Lorenzo Esqueda; siblings, Orlando Esqueda, Julio Esqueda, and Maribel Cadena; many close friends; and extended family who will miss her dearly.
