Verna Chlapek

Verna Deene Chlapek, 59, of Pendleton, died Saturday, August 24, 2013.

Services will be 2 p.m. Friday, August 30 at HarperTalasek Funeral Home in Temple with the Rev. Ernest Thompson officiating.

Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery in Temple.

Verna was born August 10, 1954 in Temple, Texas to Vernon F. and Daphadeene McConnell Davis. She was preceded in death by her sister, Earlene Barnes, and by her father, Luther Davison.

She is survived by her mother, Daphadeene Davison her son, Kelly Davison of Temple two daughters, Christine Bodily of Great Falls, Montana, and Laura Futch of Temple one brother, Vernon Gene Davis of Temple a sister, Debbie Medrano of Irving and four grandchildren.

Visitation will be 68 p.m. Thursday, August 29, at the funeral home.
