Ursula Thompson, age 81 of Temple, passed from this life Sunday, May 28, 2023, at Baylor Scott & White Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 10 am Tuesday, June 6, 2023, at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Temple. Burial will be in Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen.
Ursula was born on October 2, 1941, to Heinrich and Maria (Kiefer) Leber in Bad Kreuznach, Germany. She is preceded in death by her parents; and son, Alan Franklin. Survivors include her husband, Robert Thompson; son, Robert Franklin and wife, Tami; son, James Franklin and wife, Angie; 7 grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren.
A time of visitation will be held from 5-7 pm Monday, June 5, 2023, at the funeral home.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Baylor Scott & White doctors and nurses for the care during her hospital stay.
