Twynette was the sixth of eight children born to John Bernard “J.B.” and Georgia Wilson.  She was a Dunbar-Meredith alumni student and a Temple High School graduate, Class of 1971. She served honorably in the United States Army. Twynette was united in marriage to the love of her life, Benjamin Franklin Wright, on November 28, 1983. Two wonderful sons were born of this union – Brandon Franklin Wright and Derron Benjamin Wright. The Wright Place managed and operated local concession stands for the City of Temple’s Park and Recreations department.

Twynette dedicated her life to Christ in 1977, and was strong in her faith. She served faithfully in the Body of Christ sharing her cooking and hospitality gift, along with singing with the Ministering Choir, and Praise and Worship Team. She received her Master’s Degree in Biblical Studies and Theology from The Institute for Teaching God’s Word Theological Seminary in Rockdale Texas.

Twynette was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, niece, and friend. She loved life, her family, singing, traveling, and shopping. She enjoyed helping and serving others, taking care of family members, and encouraging the youth. Twynette was an avid sports fan who loved following her Temple Wildcats everywhere they played.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Bernard Wilson and Udell Wilson; one sister, Barbara “Babby” Wilson; and son, Timothy Brockington.
