Tressie White

Services for Tressie Allene White, 99, of Temple are scheduled for Monday July 22nd at HarperTalasek Funeral Home in Temple with Reverend Jay Thomas officiating. Burial will follow in Bellwood Memorial Cemetery.

Mrs. White Passed away Saturday in a local nursing home.

Tressie was born on May 17, 1914 to Leff and Lucy Bell Bookout Hill in Decherd, TN. She married J.B. White on May 31, 1933 in Moody. Mrs. White worked at Emmanuel Baptist Daycare in Temple for 10 yrs. She and Mr. White owned and operated Whites Clock Shop on Airport Rd. for 20 yrs. Tressie was a lifetime member of Emmanuel Baptist Church in Temple.

She was preceded in death by her husband nine brothers and sisters.

Survivors include three daughters, Norma Barras of Euless, Mrs. Charles Linda Humphrey of Temple, Mrs. Bob Barbara Machalek of Georgetown eleven grandchildren numerous great and greatgreatgrandchildren.

Visitation will be 6 to 8 pm Sunday, July 21, 2013 at HarperTalasek Funeral Home in Temple.
