Tina Francis

Tina Marie Francis, 56, of Killeen, passed away Tuesday, September 6, 2022, at home. Memorial services will be held at 2 pm Tuesday, September 13, 2022, at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Temple.

Tina was born in Fort Hood, Texas to Paul and Alice Francis on Sept 4, 1966. She graduated high school in Copperas Cove, Texas. She then moved to Midway, GA and worked and retired after 18 years as a Lieutenant Corrections Officer from Smith State Prison in Midway in 2016. She was known as Hurricane Francis by her friends and coworkers for her strong personality and determination to be just. Tina was a God-fearing woman who loved the Lord and put Him first in her life and would share the word to those in need. Tina was a loving mother, sister, daughter, and friend who valued spending time with her family. She was also gifted in arts and crafts and enjoyed gifting them to family. Memories that meant the most to her children were when Tina visited her daughter, Paige for her graduation from college in 2018, and her son Frank was honored that Tina chose him to care for her in the last months of her life.

Tina is survived by her mother, Alice Francis; son, Frank Ryan Maciel and wife, Elicia Dimery; four grandchildren, Andrea Nicole Maciel, Cameron Dimery, Nova, and Paul Maciel; daughter, Paige Ybarra and her husband, Cody Ybarra; one grandchild, Remington Marie Ybarra; sister, Lee Ann (Larry) Bushbaker, and their daughter, Amanda Bushbaker; and brother, Paul Francis Jr., and his son, Devon Francis.
