Teresa Stokes

Services for Teresa Gadison Stokes, 52, of Temple, will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, September 6, 2014, at HarperTalasek Funeral Home in Temple with Pastor Roscoe Harrison officiating.

Ms. Stokes died Friday, August 29, at a local hospital.

She was born March 11, 1962, in Greenville, Mississippi to Charlie Gadison and Doris Childress Gadison. She graduated from Greenville High School and attended Mississippi Valley State Univeristy. Teresa lived in the Killeen area for 30 years and was a manager of Mickeys Grocery Store.

Ms. Stokes was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie and Doris Gadison a sister, Emma Jean Gadison and a nephew, Herschell Gadison.

Teresa is survived by a son, Phillip Gadison and his wife Patricia daughters, LaKeisha Hughes and husband Cleven, Angela Crooks and husband Steven, JoAnna Lane, and Jasmine Stokes brothers, Charlie Gadison, Dewayne Gadison, and Marcus Gadison sisters Lorraine Moore, Lisa Gadison, LaVerne Gadison, Stephanie Gadison, and Debra Miller and grandchildren, Imani, Phillip, Jr., McKenzie, Amaria, Trinity, Preston, Steven, Jr., and Yahsiyah. She is also survived by several aunts, uncles, and cousins and twentyfour nieces and nephews.

Serving as pallbearers are Myron Gadison, Calvin Childress, Tony Bradshaw, Julian Carlile, Kendael Williams, and Rick Lassitar.
