Susan Holasek

Susan Marie (Thigpen) Holasek, age 62 of Humble, Texas and loving mother of two children, passed away Sunday, January 30, 2022, at home. Funeral services will be held for Susan and her mother, Joanne Thigpen at 11 am Tuesday, February 15, 2022, at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Temple. Burial will be in Forest Park Cemetery in Houston at 3 pm Thursday, February 17, 2022.

Susan was born on January 15, 1960, in Houston, Texas to James and Joanne Thigpen. She grew up in the Houston and Harlingen areas and became a dental hygienist. Susan moved to the Austin area where she and Joe Wright had one daughter, Katie Wright. Later she moved to the Houston area where she and Fred Holasek had one son, Christopher Holasek.

Susan is preceded in death by her father, James Thigpen; and mother, Joanne Thigpen.

She is survived by her daughter, Katie; son, Christopher; brothers, Jim, Steve, Mike, and Rick; and grandchildren, Madison, Nathan and Trudie.

A time of visitation will be held from 10 – 11 am, prior to the service Tuesday, at the funeral home.
