Steve G. Wilhelm, 67, of Temple, went to be to be with his Lord and Savior September 21, 2011. A Memorial Service will be 11:00am, Saturday, September 24, 2011 at Temple Bible Church with Pastor Gary DeSalvo officiating. A visitation will be Friday, from 6:00 8:00pm at HarperTalasek Funeral Home, Temple.
Steve was born January 25, 1944, in Levelland, Texas to the late Henry Grady Wilhelm and Joyce Dickie Wilhelm. He served in the Army from 19671973, attained the rank of Captain during the Vietnam Era. On August 17, 1991, he married Josephine Psencik in San Antonio. Steve graduated from Texas Tech with a Masters Degree in Buisness, and has stayed an avid Red Raiders Fan. He later worked for 25 years at Texas Instruments as the Human Resource Director. For the past 8 years, he has worked for C.C. Package Store at Morgans Point. Steve was a devoted member of Temple Bible Church, where he was active in the Mens Ministry Bible Study.
Steve is survived by his wife Josephine Wilhelm of Temple 2 daughters, Shelly Humbert and husband Keith of Hutto Christie Lovelace and husband Joe of LeMoore, CA stepdaughter, Michele Schoppe and husband Gordon of Cedar Park stepson Mike Psencik and wife Tara of Temple 6 grandchildren. Haley Lovelace, Ashlyn Lovelace, Macy Psencik, Noel Psencik, Sarah Schoppe, Braeden Humbert 3 sisters Judy Clements and husband Ray, Pamela Davis, Connie Graham all of Odessa several nieces, nephews and a host of dear friends.
Memorials may be made to the Temple Bible Church, Building Fund, 3205 Oakview Drive, Temple, Texas 76502.
