Stella Soliz

Stella A. Soliz, age 63 of Temple, passed away Tuesday, February 11, 2020.  Funeral services will be held at 2 pm Monday, February 17, 2020 at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Temple, 500 W. Barton Ave. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery in Temple.

Stella was born January 13, 1957 to Guillermo “Willie” and Lucille Blanco Sauseda in Waco, Texas.  She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and aunt who took great pride in her family and always shared her giving spirit with everyone around her.  She will be greatly missed by many.

Stella was preceded in death by her parents, Willie and Lucille of Moody; and husband, Robert C. Soliz Sr. of Temple.

Those left to honor and cherish her memory are her daughter, Rhonda Soliz-Solomon of Temple; daughter, Nina and husband, Michael Mendoza of Troy; son, Robert C. Soliz Jr. and wife, Michelle of Troy; son, Michael “Mikey” Soliz of Temple; Sister, Terri Soliz of Moody; sister, Becky Norman of Moody; sister, Renee Hubbard of Moody; 8 grand kids; 11 great grandkids; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

A time of visitation will be held Sunday, February 16, 2020 from 6 to 8 pm at the funeral home.
