Sidney Edward Gresham, age 76, passed away on April 28, 2026. He was born September 25, 1949, in Dallas, Texas.

Sidney was a graduate of Kimball High School, where he participated in ROTC for three years. He went on to serve his country in the United States Navy and served as military police in Da Nang and Saigon, Vietnam. Following his military service, Sidney worked in security at Higginbotham and Neiman Marcus. He was also a member of Gaston Avenue Baptist Church.

Sidney was preceded in death by his parents, Henry Cleveland Gresham and Rosamond Gresham; and his brother, Phillip Michael Gresham.

He is survived by his brother, Stephen Henry Gresham and wife Kathy; his sister, Judith Ellen Gresham; his niece, Courtney Haneline and husband Glen; his nephews, Michael Gresham and wife Kodi, Jason Gresham and wife Sandi, James Gresham and wife Christy, Tim Gresham and wife Tobi, and Bryan Arnett and wife Jane; his great-nieces, Cherish Johnson and husband Devon, and Liberty Haneline; his great-nephews, Bryan Nicholas Arnett and Shawn Russell Arnett; and eighteen additional great-nieces and great-nephews.

Sidney will be remembered for his service to his country, his dedication to his work, and the love he shared with his family. May he rest in peace.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, May 19, at 1:00PM at Central Texas State Veterans' Cemetery in Killeen.
