Shirley Yale, 69, of Temple passed away Tuesday, July 2, 2013, at a local hospital. Ms. Yale was born February 18, 1944, to Albert Dorsey and Elsie Pattillo Casey in Temple, Texas. Ms. Yale was a 1962 graduate of Temple High School and was a florist by profession.
She was preceded in death by her parents her husband, Melvin Yale and one brother, William A. Davis, Jr.
Survivors include a son, Marvin Vanicek, Jr. of Fredericksburg, Texas, a daughter, Michelle Vanicek of Arkansas, a brother, Robert Casey of Cleburne, Texas and her grandchildren.
