Sherry Kirk was born January 14, 1946 to Miles Dennis and Neallie Luane Bradshaw Walker in Fort Sumter, New Mexico. On September 20, 1965, she was married to Michael Francis Kirk in New Mexico. Sherry Kirk worked doing maintenance for apartments and hotels, painting, and bricklaying. She also worked as a Cosmetologist.

She is preceded in death by her husband.

Survivors include sons; James Aaron Kirk of Harker Heights, William Billy Kirk of North Carolina, and Mike Kirk, Jr. of Albuquerque, New Mexico, brother Bobby Walker of Louisiana, and sister Debbie Humphrey, 3 grandchildren, and 1 great-grandchild.
