Sherri Bailey

Sherri Ann Bailey, age 69 of Temple, passed from this life Sunday, May 21, 2023, at home. She was a Christian woman who loved talking to people about her Lord Jesus. Services will be held Thursday, May 25, 2023, at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Temple, with a visitation starting at 11 am and services to follow at 2 pm.

Sherri was born on March 15, 1954, to Carl Leroy and Laverne Bailey in Lubbock, Texas. In high school, she lettered in music and college in singing. She was passionate about animals and their welfare. She particularly liked elephants and tigers. Sherri’s favorite pet was a dog, but she loved cats as well. Sherri was an accomplished painter and loved to paint landscapes and animals. She worked for Scott & White and Aramark over the years.

Sherri is preceded in death by her parents; and her survivors include her sister, Carla Bailey.
