Sharon Walker

Services for Sharon Eve Walker, 46, of Troy, will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, August 1, 2017, at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Temple.

Mrs. Walker passed away Thursday, July 27, at a local hospital.

Sharon Eve Walker was born August 3, 1970 in San Antonio, Texas to Bobby Alton Montgomery and Sharon Eve Hascall Montgomery. She lived in the Temple area all of her life and attended Belton High School. Sharon was devoted to her family - her husband, her children, and her grandchildren were most important to her. She was "Honey" to her grandchildren. Sharon loved to cook, especially on Sundays and holidays. She was a member of Pendleton Baptist Church in Troy.

Mrs. Walker was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Roy Dean Walker, Jr.; and two brothers, Bill and Robert Montgomery.

She is survived by her husband, Roy Dean Walker, Sr.; son, Brandon Eugene Walker; daughters, Amanda LeAnne Jones and Megan Nichole Ross; brother, Chris Montgomery; sisters, Kathryn Pratt, Cheryll Reddehase and Debra Taylor; and grandchildren, Adilynn, Evelyn, Aubrie, Ian, Maggie, Zailey, and Zoe.

Visitation will be from 6 - 8 p.m. Monday, July 31, at the funeral home.

Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Temple is in charge of arrangements.
