Sharon Kovar

Sharon Ann Kovar, 59, passed away on March 12, 2010 after a brief illness. Sharon was a dedicated wife and mother for forty years. She was the executive secretary for the Council of Governments in Victoria, Texas for many years and received the prestigious Presidents Award prior to resigning to give birth to her first child. She then dedicated herself to raising her family. Sharon is preceded in death by parents Victor and Dorothy Ganem of Victoria, Texas and sister Stephanie Taylor of Victoria, Texas. She is survived by her husband of 40 years Larry Kovar daughter Kristen Kahrig husband Christopher son Klinton Kovar wife Lindsay grandchildren Patrick Jacob Kovar, and little granddaughter on the way Elizabeth Kahrig sisters Sandra Berry and Sheila Ganem. A pending memorial service will be held on South Padre Island, Texas.
