Shannon Mitchell

Shannon Wayne Mitchell, 26, of Spring, TX passed from this life January 16, 2011, at his home. Visitation was held from 6-8 pm Sunday, January 23 at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Temple. Funeral services for Shannon were at 2:00 p.m., Monday, January 24 at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. John Warden officiating. Burial was at Greathouse Cemetery.

Shannon was born January 27, 1984 in Temple to Ronnie and Denette Busch Mitchell. He was a member of the Resurrection Lutheran Church in Spring, and also a member of the 24 HR Fitness Club in Spring. He worked as a tile setter with the family business Mitchell Brothers and Sons Tile Company in Spring. Shannon is preceded in death by his grandfather, Donnie Mitchell in 2010.

Shannon is survived by one daughter, Brooklyn Clarice Mitchell of Spring; one son, Braeden Wayne Mitchell of Belton; parents, Ronnie and Denette Mitchell of Spring; brothers, Dustin Duane Mitchell and wife, Celeste and Layton Gene Mitchell all of Spring; grandparents, Patricia Mitchell of Salado, Mary Hogan of Roscoe, IL and Dennis and Becky Busch of Beloit, WI; and nephew, Presley Duane Mitchell of Spring.

Honoring Shannon as pallbearers will be Dustin Mitchell, Layton Mitchell, Sean Crayton, Shiloh Mitchell, Brad Fisch, Chris Voyer, Corey Mitchell and Kalan Adams.
