Sarah Harrison

Graveside service for Sarah Elizabeth Harrison, 55, of Temple will be held at Hillcrest Cemetery, May 15, 2010 at 1:00 p.m., with Reverend David Alwine officiating.
Sarah died on May 12, 2010 at a local hospital. She was preceded in death by her dad, Ben Harrison and her maternal grandmother, Ethel Marley. She was a graduate of Temple High School, Temple College and the University of North Texas where she earned a degree in administrative management. Sarah was physically unable to pursue a career in her chosen field, but at home her interest revolved around writing.
Over the past 5 years she has resided at a local living center where she made friends with her warm smile and a great sense of humor. She was an inspiration to those who took care of her, to those who brought their pets to see her and to her church friends.
She was a member of Christ Episcopal Church and several writing organizations.
Survivors include her mother, Dorothy Harrison of Temple, her aunt, Imogene Maxwell of Bonham, her adopted sister, Deborah Kedziora of Temple and her adopted family, the Ray Ochoas of Taylor.
