San Estrada

San Juanita Winky Estrada, 51 of Temple, passed away Sunday, August 1, 2010 in a local hospital. Funeral service will be 1:00pm, Friday August 6, 2010 at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery.

Ms. Estrada was born May 7, 1959 to Geronimo and Guadalupe Lerma Estrada in Temple, Texas. She proudly served our country in the United States Army. She served in Operation Desert Storm. She worked as a registration clerk in the National Guard. Ms. Estrada was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Temple.
She is preceded in death by her parents, and her sister, Maria Callahan.

Survivors include: sons Ryan Torbet and Michael Torbet both of Arizona, daughters, Amber Vajdl of North Carolina, brothers Ray Gomez of Round Rock and Antonio Estrada of Temple, sisters Ramona Rodriguez of Temple, Yondy Shipley of Austin, Elisa Black of Cedar Park, and Lori Blandin of Round Rock, and 6 grandchildren including Maya and Anthony.

HarperTalasek Funeral Home in Temple is in charge of arrangements.
