Sammie Brisbin

Graveside services for Sammie Karen Brisbin, 65, of Temple, will be 10 a.m. Saturday, November 4, at Resthaven Cemetery in Belton with Pastor Jeremy Franks officiating.

Mrs. Brisbin passed away Sunday, October 29, at a local hospital.

Sammie was born May 2, 1952 in Hobbs, New Mexico to Hobart O. White and Mickey Morgan White. She married Brent Brisbin in 1991 and lived in the Temple area most of her life. She was a Christian by faith. Sammie was a nurturing, independent woman who was extremely devoted to her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Michael White.

Survivors include her husband of twenty-six years, Brent Brisbin; and two daughters, Brittney Brisbin and Shawna Brisbin.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Sammie's memory may be made to the American Cancer Society or a charity of your choice.

Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Temple is in charge of arrangements.
