Russell Knight

Russell Elvis Knight, 81 of Temple died Tuesday, August 23, 2011 at his residence.

Graveside services will be Friday, 10:00 a.m. August 26 at the North Belton Cemetery in Belton with the Rev. Doug Young officiating.

Mr. Knight was born in Belton on October 24, 1929 to the late Russell Joe and Cora Setzer Knight. He
was of the Baptist faith and had retired from the City of Temple Sanitation department in 1982 where he had worked since he was 14 years of age.

Mr. Knight is survived by his wife, Annette Pavelek Knight of Temple, son Lawrence J. Knight and wife, Sandy of Harker Heights and daughter Peggy S. Cockrum and husband, Thomas of McGregor, brothers: George Knight of Sweetwater and Kenneth Knight of Terrell and one sister Irene Malone of Kingwood, TX.

He is also survived by 5 granddaughters Brandy
Larson, Megan Harding, Leanne Cockrum, Keira
Knight Pargo and Michelle Knight.
1 great granddaughter Ashlynn Cockrum.
