Ruby Floyd

Ruby Ray Floyd, 91, passed away on Monday, May 13, 2013 at her home in Temple, TX. She was born on March 22, 1922 in Llano, TX.

Ruby worked in the hotel and bank industry in Dallas, TX before retiring and moving to Burnet, TX and then Temple, TX. She learned to see at the age of 6 and became an expert seamstress. She also enjoyed traveling with her husband, Gerald, of 39 years. She was a member of Memorial Baptist Church in Temple, TX.

Ruby is survived by her husband, Gerald Floyd, daughterinlaw Maria Ray of Wylie, TX, sons Charles Floyd of Henderson, TX, Terry Floyd of Wylie, TX, ten grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and 2 great, great grandchildren.

She is proceded in death by six sisters, two brothers, son Tommy W. Ray and daughter Donna Joan Ray Meyer.

Visitation will be 6 to 8 pm Tuesday, May 14, 2013 at Harper Talasek Funeral Home in Temple, TX with funeral service held on Wednesday, May 15, 2013 at 11:00.
