Ruby L. Butler,

Ruby L. Butler, 93, a lifelong Temple resident, passed away Friday at a Belton nursing home. She was born March 1, 1916 in Oenaville to Bennie May Williams and Joseph Thomas Lamar. She married Adolph Wirth in the early 50s. They owned and operated Wirth Caf in downtown Temple for several years until his death. She was also a cashier at the Veterans Caf for many years. She was a member of the Lutheran church.
In 1981 she married Dr. Pickens Butler of Temple. She is survived by nephews and nieces, Joe and Linda Lamar of Academy, Marshall Lamar of Temple and Linda Sitton of Washington, Missouri. Stepchildren, Pam and Wally Johanssen of Eddy and John Butler of Las Vegas, Nevada.
Graveside service will be held 2:00 p.m., Monday, at Bellwood Memorial Park. She will lie in state Sunday 1:004:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
HarperTalasek Funeral Home in Temple is in charge of arrangements.
