Royce Jones, Jr.

Royce Author Jones, Jr., age 73 of Temple, passed from this life Tuesday, April 25, 2023. The family will celebrate his life privately at a later date.

Royce was born on November 5, 1949, to Royce Jones, Sr. and Julia Vaughn in Belton, Texas. He attended Belton High School and was a truck driver for many years. Royce enjoyed playing pool, and dancing. He was the life of the party and kept his friends and family laughing, always cutting jokes. He will be missed by all those who knew and loved him.

Royce is preceded in death by his parents.

Those left to honor and cherish his memory are his daughters, Linda Kaye Jones, and Olita Faye Foster; his 8 grandchildren, Cory Holverson, Angela Rush, Giovanni Miller, Dimitri Miller, Aliceson Foster, Scotty Foster, Zack Foster, and Emilie Williams; and great grandson, Benjamin Rush.

Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Temple is in charge of arrangements.
