Roy L. Clark, 82, formerly of Temple, died Sunday, March 16, in Burbank, California. Graveside service is planned for 10:00 a.m., Monday, March 24 in Hillcrest Cemetery. Mr. Clark was born December 2, 1925 in Temple to Luke and Edna P. Clark. He graduated from Temple High School and went to work on Broadway when he was 19. From Broadway he went to Hollywood, where he appeared in numerous films, including Can Can, An American in Paris, How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, Some Like it Hot, Guys and Dolls and Jailhouse Rock.

He taught Elvis Presley and Fabian dances for some of their films. He was once a regular on the Andy Williams Show on television and appeared in many Las Vegas shows.

Mr. Clark maintained contact with many familiar stars and choreographers as well as behind-the-scenes personnel he had worked with over the years and organized reunions with and for them.

In later years he worked as an executive in Blue Cross of California. His home was in Studio City, CA.

Although preceded in death by his parents, he is survived by numerous friends.
