Mrs. Garcia passed from this life peacefully while surrounded by beloved family on November 15, 2018. Rosita H. Garcia was born June 29, 1949, to Nicolas and Consuelo Martinez Hernandez in Temple. She attended Troy high school in Troy.

Rosie held many different positions at McLane Company. She became a crew leader and then a supervisor. She was a dedicated employee for 20 plus years. Mrs. Garcia then went on to start her own business, Garcia Janitorial Services, where she continued to work for the McLane Family. She was always thankful and felt very blessed that Drayton McLane Jr. gave her the opportunity to work for him and help support her family. She never considered Mr. McLane as an employer but as a true friend.

Rosie was very strong woman of faith and was baptized as a Jehovah's Witness. She was a wonderful homemaker who was always cooking and cleaning so that everything was always neat and perfect around the home. When she found free time, she loved to crochet and sew. She always looked forward to her wedding anniversaries because she loved to dance, she loved the music, and most of all she loved that quality time with her husband. It meant another year they had spent together. She also loved traveling with her husband which they tried to do every chance they got. Rosie's greatest treasure in life was her family. She and her beloved husband of 52 years, Alvino D. Garcia, raised five wonderful children who blessed them with many grandchildren whom are the light of their lives. she will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved her.

These are a few Bible verses that gave Rosie the hope of once again seeing her love ones again. She would always tell her family, "if you have faith and dedicate yourself to Jehovah God and put your problems in his hands, everything would work itself out."

John 11:25 says: Jesus says to her: " I am the resurrection and the life. The one who exercises faith in me, even though he dies, will come to life."

John 3:16 says: For God loved the world so much that he gave his only- begotten Son, so that everyone exercising faith in him my not be destroyed but have everlasting life.

Revelation 21:4 says: And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.

She was preceded in death by a son, Alvino Garcia Jr.; daughter, Lisa Garcia; her parents; brothers, Benito M. Hernandez, Francisco Hernandez, Nicolas M. Hernandez; and a sister, Helena H. Florez.
