Robin Walker

Robin Blanche Walker, 56, of Temple, passed away on Monday, February 11, 2013 at a local hospital. A chapel service will be held in her honor at 1 p.m. Thursday, February 14, 2013 at HarperTalasek Funeral Home with Rev. Jay Thomas officiating.

Robin was born on May 8, 1956 to Murray and Nancy McGregor Shaw in Cleveland, OH. She graduated from Temple High School in 1974. On October 19, 1978 she married the love of her life Steven Wayne Walker. She worked at Scott and White for 26 years as an EKG technician before retiring in 2006.

Robins kind and gentle soul will be remembered by all those who knew her. She was the most generous nonjudgemental individual who always accepted and loved others. She was dedicated to her children, family and friends. She will be loved and missed everyday by her family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents and husband.

Robin is survived by four children Steven Wayne Walker, Jr. of Burton, MI, Arthur Joseph Walker of Levelland, TX, Shawna Walker Clark of Walnut Creek, CA, Richard David Walker of Ft. Worth, TX one brother James Shaw of Temple, three grandchildren Steven Wayne Walker, III Bradley Joseph Walker soon to be born Baby Boy Walker, and a host of dear friends.

Though small in stature, she will be remembered as tiny, mighty, and strong
