alignjustifyRobert O. Whitson, 81 of Temple, passed away November 24, 2008 at his residence. Funeral services will be 10:00am Monday, December 1, 2008 at Harper Talasek Funeral Home in Temple with Rev. Tom Robbins and Rev. Hubert Austin officiating. Graveside services will be 3:30pm Monday at Restland Cemetery in Dallas.

alignjustifyRobert Whitson was born November 24, 1927 to Reuben F. and Alice M. Hester Whitson in Amarillo. He served our country as a Sergeant in the United States Army Air Force. Mr. Whitson worked as an electrical engineer. He also worked at Collins Radio in Garland, Texas for several years. On February 12, 2006, he married Betty Kegley Davenport. Robert Whitson was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Temple.

alignjustifyHe is preceded in death by his first wife, Dorothy Mildred Whitson, his parents, and 2 infant sisters.

alignjustifySurvivors are his wife, Betty Kegley Davenport-Whitson of Temple.
