Robert Herman Kluth, 78 of Bastrop, passed away Wednesday, January 21, 2009 at a Temple nursing facility. No services are scheduled.

Robert Kluth was born April 12, 1930 to Herman and Helena Dietrich Kluth in Gonzales, Texas. He worked as a masonry contractor. Mr. Kluth also served in the United States Navy.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include: daughter, Jennifer Prince and husband Curtis of Morganton, North Carolina, brother, James Kluth, sisters; Ruby Gorrell and Viola Cage, grandchildren: Rene Denise Betancourt and husband Patrick of Youngsville, North Carolina, Tammie Michelle Aragon of Austin, Texas, and James Robert Bobby Aragon and wife Mona of Durham, North Carolina, great grandchildren; Jacob Donald Booth, Sarah Rene Booth, Robert H. Aragon, and Nola Gail Aragon.
