Robert Jones

Services for Robert Charlie Jones, 77, of Troy will be 11:00 am Monday, July 21st at Harper Talasek Funeral Home with the Bro. Dominic White officiating. Interment will follow at Post Oak Cemetery in Oglesby, Texas.

He died Wednesday, July 16, at his home.

Charlie was born June 1, 1937, in Graford, Texas to Charlie B. Jones and Lena Newberry Jones. He married Lula Moss on August 10, 1957 and they made their home in Temple in 1958. Charlie was employed as a driver for Ferrel Distributing in Temple for 45 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Lorene Reed and a sonnlaw, Leroy Stanford.

Survivors include his wife son, Ronald Jones from Moody two daughters, Rebecca Ortega and husband Robert from Arlington and Rosie Stanford from Moody sister Rosella Hampton and husband Jimmy from Graford, Texas 9 grandchildren and 14 greatgrandchildren and their three beloved Chihuahuas PattyCake, Missy, and Vixon.

Visitation will be Sunday, July 20th from 6 8 pm at Harper Talasek Funeral Home Chapel.
