Robert Edwards

Private services will be held at a later date for Robert Raymond Edwards, 62, of Holland who passed from this life on Friday, June 16, 2018. Raymond was born September 23, 1955 to Robert and Sarah Edwards in Waco, TX.

Mr. Edwards has lived in the central Texas area most of his life. He worked on the family pecan farm, helping in any way he could. Raymond was known for being able to fix anything
mechanically. He always enjoyed using bacon on string to hunt for crawfish with his grandchildren. Raymond always had a copy of the Farmer's Almanac and he could tell you about the weather and many other useful tips for gardening and farming. He was always at his happiest if he had a chair under a shade tree with a cold beer in his hand. He will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved him.

He is preceded in death by his son, Rodney Edwards and his father, Robert Edwards.

Those left to honor and cherish his memory are his daughters, Tracy Karl and husband Marvin, Charity Scott; mother, Sarah Edwards; brothers, Jerry West, Alvin Edwards, Jimmy Edwards; sister, Kathy Morgan; grandchildren, Jacob, Andrew, Alexsis, Christopher, Elizabeth; and numerous nieces and nephews.
