Paid obit to Run Thursday
Robert Dyson, 86 Temple, TX, died Monday, August 22nd, at a local nursing home. Graveside services will be on Saturday at 12:00 noon at Assumption Cemetery in Austin, TX.
Mr. Dyson was born on December 16, 1924 to Albert and Mabel Eva Street Dyson in Detroit, Michigan .
Robert, was by trade a pattern tool and die maker and before his retirement in 1989 with Texas Instruments in Temple, TX he worked for 19 years at Excel Mold in Indianapolis, IN.
Robert also proudly served his country in the US Navy from 1943 to 1945 serving active duty in the South Pacific.
Mr. Dyson also was a member in good standing with the Masonic Fraternity for a period of fifty or more years with the Lynhurst Masonic Lodge No. 723 in Indianapolis.
He was preceded in death by one son Donald and an infant daughter Nancy.
Survived by his wife of 66 years Lorraine Navarro and two sons Ronald Indiananapolis, IN and Keith Beech Grove, IN, sisters Lorraine OliverSt. Petersburg, Fl and Phylis Dalton Indianapolis, IN and sister in law Sylvia Navarro Austin, Tx, he had 8 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and 5 greatgreat grandchildren.
No visitation services are scheduled, graveside services in Austin, TX. The family wishes all donations to be given in his name to Lighthouse Hospice in Altenheim, Round Rock, TX or the charity of choice.
