R.M. Tippen

A memorial service celebrating the life of R.M. Ray Tippen, 102, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 8, 2014, at the HarperTalasek Funeral Home Chapel, 500 West Barton Avenue in Temple with the Reverend Walter Olsen officiating.

Mr. Tippen passed away Friday, January 17, 2014. He was born in Ebony, Texas on May 29, 1911. He worked for ATT for 36 years and was a Master Mason at the Belton, Texas Lodge. He and his wife, Lois, had recently moved to the Spring, Texas area from Temple, where they had resided for over 20 years. Ray was an amazing individual loving, fun, adventurous, and an avid golfer.

He is survived by his wife, Lois Tippen two stepsons, Steve Hanson wife Mome, Mike Hanson wife Shirley brother Delton Tippen wife Betty nephews Bob Tippen, Scott Tippen wife Janie, James Tippen wife Angie and nieces, nephews and extended family.
