Richard Rendon

Memorial services for Richard Rendon, 60 of Temple will be 11 a.m. Saturday, July 15 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Temple with Father Tom Chamberlain officiating.

Mr. Rendon passed away Wednesday, July 5, at his home in Temple.

Richard Rendon was born September 19, 1956 in Belton, Texas to Raymond Rendon and Trinedad Valasquez Rendon. He graduated from Belton High School in 1975 and lived in the Belton area his entire life. He worked as a machinist for Ag Meir in Belton. Richard was a devout Catholic and a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Temple. He was a humble and reserved man who loved helping others, cheering for the Dallas Cowboys, and eating his mother's tamales.

Mr. Rendon was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Trinedad Rendon, Sr.; a brother, David Rendon; and a sister, Mary Sue Garcia.

He is survived by a brother, Raymond Rendon, Jr. and wife, Olga; and a sister, Ramona Rodriguez and husband, Cecil.

The family wishes to thank their friends and family for their support during this time. In lieu of flowers, memorials in honor of Richard may be made to Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Temple.
