Rhonda Lee Solomon

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Mimi, sister, niece and friend, Rhonda Lee Solomon.   Rhonda passed away on March 26, 2024, at the early age of 50 due to complications from Chronic Kidney Disease, Cardiovascular disease, and diabetes.

Born to Robert C. Soliz Sr. and Stella Ann Soliz on November 23, 1973, in Waco, Texas.  Rhonda married Billy Carl Solomon on July 24, 2000, and from their 24-year union two children were born: Billy Soliz and O’sha Solomon.

Rhonda enjoyed dancing and you would find her always in her stilettos having a great time.  Her love of fashion showed in her collection of clothing and shoes.  She loved to cook, and everyone would always ask for her pecan pies, dressing, fried chicken, and dirty rice.

Rhonda would always help others whether it was family or friends.  She would not let anyone be disrespectful to family or friends or she was the first to put you in your place.  She loved all her nieces and nephews as if they were her own.  Rhonda loved unconditionally and cherished her grandchildren. They truly were her world.  She will be missed greatly but is now reunited with her parents and grandparents.

Rhonda is preceded in death by her parents.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband; Billy Carl Solomon, sons; Billy and wife, Cristina Soliz & O’sha Solomon, grandchildren; Aaliyah, Kobe, Mercedes, Aubrii and Jordan Soliz, Adelyn & Zayden Solomon, brothers; Robert C. and wife Michelle Soliz & Mikey Soliz, sister; Florentina and husband, Mike Mendoza, and a host of other family and friends.

It is so meaningful to our family for you to share in our grief and support during this difficult time. To say goodbye to a loved one is never easy, so we are deeply grateful for your comfort. Your kindness and care were like a refreshing wind to our saddened spirits. Thank you.
